Free and Low-Cost Therapy
My name is Jaime Campbell, and I am an MFT Trainee excited to offer individual, couple, and family therapy sessions. As I work toward licensure, I am supervised by Nichole Hydaryacil, LMFT #108460, a licensed therapist and Assistant Clinical Director at the Daybreak Child, Couple, and Family Therapy Clinic.

My approach is rooted in my experience as a trauma-informed college educator, guiding students to discover their abilities and identities as writers and critical thinkers over the past fifteen years. As an MFT trainee, I take a similarly empathetic and supportive stance, helping clients with their mental health concerns. I bring a non-judgmental, curious mindset to sessions, actively guiding clients toward their own values to find motivation for change.
As an MFT trainee, I do not yet have a specialty, but I do have the following areas of interest:
-
complex trauma
-
PTSD
-
depression
-
anxiety
-
drug and alcohol use
-
postpartum transitions (including postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as couples therapy)
-
divorce
-
marriage dissatisfaction, tension, and disconnection patterns
-
single parenting struggles
-
neurodivergence
-
chronic health issues
-
Veterans
-
self-esteem and self-worth
-
mindfulness (I am a certified mindfulness instructor)
-
individuals who might not be interested in the above labels/ categories but are curious or confused about their own behavior, thoughts, feelings, or relationships

As an MFT trainee, I am a volunteer and do not charge for my services. However, after fifteen free sessions, Daybreak requires a $10 fee for each subsequent session. Sessions with me are over Zoom for clients residing anywhere in California or in-person in Anaheim, California. You must be a California resident to receive services.
